Why I Started Mental Vacation Hub
Not long ago, I collapsed under the weight of burnout.
From the outside, it was obvious I had hit a wall - my business had drained me, private life had left me stretched thin, and there was nothing left to give.
Inside, I was running on fumes. Still, I felt the relentless pressure to perform, to succeed, to keep going. Like many high achievers, I couldn’t admit it openly.
Burnout became my daily battle.
That experience changed everything. I learned that burnout isn’t just about exhaustion. I used to believe it’s only about being extremely tired and a few months of lighter workload solves everything.
I was hit with reality - acute burnout is about losing momentum, clarity, and purpose.
My brain closed down.
Symptoms took over - panic attacks, mild memory gaps, dizziness, brain fog, tiredness.
Only after I started to reach out for help, I realized how many others live through the same struggle, quietly, afraid to speak up for fear of what it might cost them.
After a few months of struggling myself, I knew I had to do something about it in a larger scale.
