6–20 → Stress but not burnout

Stress is here - but burnout isn’t

Your answers indicate that you’re experiencing some stress, but it hasn’t progressed into burnout.

This is a very common state - most busy professionals live here at some point. Stress in itself isn’t bad, but when it becomes constant and unmanaged, it can slowly erode your well-being.

Why it matters: The difference between stress and burnout is all about recovery. Stress is a natural response; burnout happens when your energy never fully returns.

Helpful suggestions:

  • Use micro-breaks: 5 minutes of breathing, stretching, or walking can reset your nervous system.

  • Identify your biggest energy drainers at work and set one small boundary around them.

  • Add one joyful activity to your week that’s just for you.

You’re not in burnout - and that’s good news. By making small adjustments now, you can stay out of it.
